Water mill site from the 16th century. In 1916, an 8 hp Pelton-Turbine replaced a previously unknown coupling of two waterwheels connected in series with an upper blade. The turbine plant remained in operation until 1963 and was reactivated as a turbine plant in 1990. Pelton-Turbines are only little known in Westfalen-Lippe, this is currently the only operational and listed turbine.
