It is a two-storey granary and an early example of the corner post type with intermediate upright and missing separate sill. The door is arranged in the middle. The plank walls close off the aisle on the right and left as well as the center of the box, so that the room is divided into three compartments. The upper floor can be reached via an external staircase.
The historic inscription can be found above the door:
"GOD GIVE HIS BLESSING IN ANNO 1691"
