Adorf:

St. John's Church is the largest and most important Romanesque village church in the region. It was the seat of an archdeacon until 1215. From 1231 a vice archdeacon.

The architectural style of the church is from the 2nd half of the 12th century. It has a sturdy protruding west tower with a pyramid helmet, which was built as a defensive tower around 1200.

Flechtdorf:

St. Maria Klosterkirche is one of the most important churches in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district. The monastery church was begun as the church of the Benedictine monastery in the middle of the 12th century as a three-aisled pillar basilica in a bound system with a western transept and an impressive double-door west building.

During the Reformation, the church became a Protestant parish church.

Heringhausen:

Unlike the other churches, St. Barbara's Church was not built on land formerly owned by Corvey Abbey. It was built on land owned by the Kaufungen monastery.

There is a sculpture of St. Barbara in the northern aisle of the church, which is a reminder of the mining industry that used to be located here. The paintings on the western wall of the tower are from a high altar and depict the Last Judgement and the apostles Paul and Peter.

Schweinsbühl:

St. George's Church is a remarkable small Romanesque building with only one bay and a domed cross vault, adjoining eastern apse and a western, rectangular, vaulted tower bay. The church contains a late Gothic crucifix, a Romanesque baptismal font and a six-sided pulpit on a stone base.

The small village had an important position in the Middle Ages. The "Villicus" of Corvey Monastery was based here. He collected the taxes from the local farmers. Later, Schweinsbühl was also the seat of a free court with blood jurisdiction.

Sudeck:

St. Margaret's Church is a simple late Romanesque building from the end of the 12th century.
