Welcome to the small rest area, located on the A2 hiking route in the south of Halver. Comfortable benches invite you to linger and offer a great view of the avenue road between Halver and Kierspe.

This is also the source of the Ennepe, which is dammed further downstream to form the Ennepetalsperre. An information board at the rest area provides an overview of the river and the most important facts and figures.

A clear information board from the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park provides visitors with exciting information about the Ennepe and the Wilde Ennepe nature reserve.
