In addition to the stadium, the Große Wiese sports and saltwater park has athletics facilities (all synthetic), a grass training pitch and two grass pitches. There is also a triple sports hall and the NASS leisure pool. There is also a brine park with a Gradierwerk, a Kneipp island and a boules facility right next to the sports field.
A Finnbahn is a running track which, thanks to its special design, is easy on the joints. In contrast to asphalt or synthetic tracks, it has a soft, springy surface. The Finn track at the Große Wiese sports center is 2.50 m wide and exactly 1,000 m long. The track runs independently of the rest of the path system, is illuminated with energy-saving LED technology in the evening hours until 11 p.m. and is openly accessible at all times.
