The foundation stone for the St. Peter & Paul Chapel in Berlar was laid in 1882. In 1978, a lightning strike damaged the tower of the chapel, which was subsequently repaired. Four years later, the building was repainted. Further renovations took place in 1993.
Directions
There is a cab bus from Meschede to Berlar (Mon-Fri) - line: T73. The bus stop is "Berlar, Dorf" or "Berlar, Kinderheim). From here it is approx. 500 m on foot to the chapel.
