The museum shows the development of Medebach from a farming town to a vacation resort. In the adjoining Hansa Hall is the model railway layout for the Steinhelle - Medebach narrow-gauge railroad.

There is a lot to discover: Five chronological rooms about the town's history, three themed rooms, the geo and history portal, four digital media stations and the model railroad for the Medebach-Steinhelle miniature railroad.

There are hands-on packages and interactive stations for the children.
