The association serves to preserve, maintain and promote folk music, particularly in the village of Niederbergheim.
The association's activities include regular practice sessions, training on the instruments of a marching band, participation in secular and church events of a cultural nature, organization of events and participation in music festivals. The association has 40 active musicians and 120 supporting members.
