Next to the bench, the dog is also waiting as a legendary wooden figure. The ideal opportunity for a photo with this tame "beast".
The bench offers a wonderful view and is a worthwhile detour for all hikers and walkers who come along the local circular hiking trail A2 or explore the Herscheid circular trail. The Piener Kopf hiking parking lot is also within walking distance from here.

The Piener Kopf hiking parking lot can be reached from the direction of Herscheid via the "An den Hellen" road. Follow the road up the hill before reaching the hikers' parking lot at the top of the "Kopf". Coming from Lüdenscheid (Versetalsperre) or Meinerzhagen (Fürwiggetalsperre), leave the L694 in the direction of "Stottmert" (on the left / signposted), cross the aforementioned settlement and soon reach the Piener Kopf hiking parking lot at the top of the "Kopf".
