The bench invites all hikers, walkers, cyclists and motorcyclists passing by to take a break. The rest and viewing point can also be discovered on the A8 circular hiking trail, starting at the Rotthausen hiking parking lot. The popular nature and culture hiking tour, which also leads to the Glrötalsperre dam, starts at the parking lot.
There is also a barn pole at this resting point, erected by the Vakt e.V. art association from Halver.
