Roll up your trouser legs and off you go.

Treading water is probably Kneipp's best-known healing method. The treading pool is filled with cold water up to around calf height and revitalizes tired legs. Kneipp treading involves lifting your feet completely out of the water with each step and immersing them again, which stimulates blood circulation and metabolism and strengthens the immune system. The movement also helps to loosen the muscles.

"Get to know the water properly and it will always be a reliable friend."

Sebastian Anton Kneipp
