Directions

From the chapel in Glindfeld, head east, walk along the road for a while and then turn right towards the forest.After approx. 300 m, you will see the old forester's lodge on your right. We will return from there later. We continue straight ahead on the connecting path towards Glindfeld-Winterberg. (white diamond outline on black background) over the Elkeringhausen Siepen river until we reach the Bergweg and Höhenflug paths through the forest at the "Am Dorf" fork. From here we follow the Bergweg / x15 / Uplandweg and Höhenflug uphill until we meet the K1 path and the Elkeringhausen - Glindfeld connecting path (white square on a black background) below the Junge Grimme. We follow these signs until we reach the Schienenhütte. Now that you have mastered all the challenges, the route continues downhill to the right on the connecting path towardsGlindfeld(white square on a black background).Follow the forest path for approx. 1 km until you see the giant trees on the left. Please walk back the same way, then along the forester's lodge until you are back at the chapel.

Safety guidelines

The forestry trails are not hiking trails, so please be careful during forestry work.

Arrival only possible by car.

How to get there

Coming from Winterberg and Olsberg, drive via Küstelberg in the direction of Medebach. Turn right in the bend at Krämershagen towards Glindfeld. Glindfeld is very small and the chapel is immediately visible.
