Lying in a beach chair, feet in the sand, looking towards the water: what sounds like a dream vacation by the sea can be a reality every day in Herscheid. This is just one of the many facets of the warm-water outdoor pool: both young and old feel right at home here.
What sets the pool apart is its spaciousness: you can find a free spot on the large sunbathing lawns even on busy days.
If you prefer comfort, you can hire a beach chair or sun lounger. Visitors have a good view of the area from the sun terrace next to the kiosk, where refreshments and treats are on offer. The football pitch and beach volleyball court are just a few meters away. The four pools form the center of the pool. The youngest visitors prefer to have fun in the modern paddling pool with its water mushroom and play equipment. The non-swimmers' pool has been redesigned: it has a current channel, wide wave slide, massage jets, water bowl and neck shower. But that's not all the attractions: The swimmer's pool with its seven lanes is connected to a diving pool. There is a diving tower next to it, from which guests can glide more or less artfully into the water from a height of one or three meters.

Season: May - September
The ticket office closes 30 minutes before the end of the bathing time.
The municipality of Herscheid reserves the right to close the outdoor pool from Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm in the event of bad weather.
Opening hours may be extended in particularly good weather.
