The Way of the Cross of the parishes of St. Lambertus, Affeln, St. Lucia, Altenaffeln, and St. Agatha, Blintrop, was erected under Pastor Andreas Schulte.
Bronze plaques - set in stone - depict the Passion of Jesus from his condemnation by Pilate to his burial. The wooden plaques next to the 14 bronze plaques provide information about the stations. Behind the closed wooden panels are brief descriptions of the individual stations. In this way, visitors to the Stations of the Cross are invited to meditate on each station.
The Stations of the Cross can be walked in about half an hour and there are benches at each station where there are smaller inclines to climb.
