The approximately 6 km long A1 hiking trail starts at the BördeTherme. From there, it leads past the sports center and the Quellenhof clinic through the fields in the direction of Heppen.
Along the way, there is a fantastic view of the church silhouette of Soest.
The trail continues through the village of Heppen and the fields to Gabrechten and back through the fields and the "musicians' quarter" to the BördeTherme.
After the hike, you can relax wonderfully there. Next door, the Gradierwerk invites you to take a deep breath. Or you can end the day in one of the small cafés and restaurants in the spa gardens and town.

Public transiot
Bad Sassendorf train station (Eurobahn R89 Münster-Warburg) is 600 m from the thermal baths. The bus stop at the Therme is served by the R81 (Bad Sassendorf-Soest) and R49 (Bad Sassendorf-Soest-Möhnesee).
Getting there
From the Ruhrgebiet or from Kassel via the Dortmund Kassel highway (A 44) to the Soest-Ost/Bad Sassendorf exit, then via the B475 and L856 to Bad Sassendorf.
From the direction of Berlin/Hanover via the highway (A 2) to the Wiedenbrück exit, then via Lippstadt-Erwitte (B 1/L856) to Bad Sassendorf.
