Directions
Always follow the A2 hiking sign.Standing in front of the hiking board, we choose the tarred path behind us and follow it downhill until we reach the "Habecker Kreuz". Here we take the first gravel path on the right. We stay on the hiking trail until its end, which takes us slightly uphill to "Am Osenberg". There we turn right and at the next possibility "Wildacker" we turn right.At a larger square with a shelter called "Jägerbänke", we take the 2nd path on the right and turn left uphill at the next fork. We stay on this hiking trail until we reach our starting point, the "Am Brande" hiking parking lot.If you want to extend the hike by approx. 2.5 km, park at the entrance to the parking lot.

We recommend that you bring sturdy shoes and sufficient food and drink.
Safty guidelines
A rescue point system has been installed in the Hochsauerland district. Rescue points can be found on the information boards at junctions and on hiking signs.

A wonderful panoramic view opens up on the way to the hiking parking lot. Don't forget your camera.

Getting there
The "Am Brande" hiking parking lot is located between the Schmallenberg districts of Werpe and Harbecke. At the top of the hill, the entrance to the "Am Brande" hiking parking lot branches off. From here it is approx. 1.2 km to the hiking parking lot.
