Immerse yourself in the fascinating Möhne river landscape, in the world of kingfishers, dippers and grey wagtails! The naturally meandering Möhne with its floodplain and species-rich wet meadows and alluvial forests has been designated as a European protected area and natural heritage site. Sections of the Möhne have been renaturalized as part of an EU Life project. In summer, thousands of marsh grasshoppers can be found in the extensively used wet meadows.
On the Skywalk, you can marvel at the beautiful Möhne meanders, which draw an M for Möhnetal in the landscape, from above.
