This hiking trail is marked with a white H on a blue background and begins at the small market square in Allendorf. The history trail in Allendorf near Sundern was created in 2002 with 16 stations and was recognized and marked as a circular trail on the Sauerland-Höhenflug in 2013. The Fickeltünnes hiking trail takes you to chapels, collieries, burial mounds and places steeped in history. Stories, funny, sad and curious facts from the past are explained on thick wooden steles.starts at the market square in Allendorf. Here you will also find hiking information about the local hiking network, the circular trail itself and current information from the SGV.From the parking lot, turn right and walk through Marktgasse (Drei-Königs-Weg) into Altstadtstraße and pass the Fickeltünnes, which gives this trail its name. St. Anthony is often depicted with a pig (in Low German: Fickel) and is the patron saint of the Allendorf church. Here you have the first beautiful views over the Sauerland. There are three stations along the way before the circular trail reaches the spacious Allendorf park with its playground. The route continues via the "Seven Sorrows of Mary" station trail, a unique feature in the Sauerland, to Krusenberg. Here, the blue-marked circular trail meets the yellow-marked Sauerland-Höhenflug, which you now follow in the direction of Affeln. Beautiful narrow paths through forests and open spaces and wonderful views await you on the Sauerland-Höhenflug up to Hagen Kreuz. Along the way, hikers have piled up the stones along the way to form interesting sculptures - join in! At the Hagen Cross itself, a round table with a bench invites you to take a relaxing break, before leaving the Sauerland-Höhenflug and descending into the 'Krähe' valley, where the small stream meanders magically through a meadow. Along the small stream, the circular route follows a small path through a spruce forest and reaches the L 619 country road, which you have to cross. The Fickeltünnes hiking trail now leads along the former Hermann mine, which is now a nature reserve, and through spruce forests to the L 842 country road, which you have to follow briefly towards the small village of Hüttebrüchen. After just a few meters, however, the hiking trail turns left again onto a forest path. The landscape now becomes more open. Meadows, fields and rows of trees alternate and open up wonderful views again and again. The so-called 'Allendorf train station' on the Ödenberg is also located in a huge area of cyril. A refuge offers you another resting place. A magnificent view accompanies you through the 'Alte Feld' and along the 'Eichenberg'. You soon come to the nature reserve at the 'Steinert'. In spring, countless spring snowflakes and primroses bloom here, andthe Steinert nature reserve has been one attraction richer since spring 2014. For the first time in over 70 years, goats moved back into the nature reserve to browse the bushes and shrubs and thus protect the Steinert from the threat of overgrowth. Since then, this work has been carried out by Valais black-necked goats, an endangered breed of goat. The Fickeltünnes hiking trail leads via a branch path into the goat enclosure up to the summit cross, where you can once again enjoy a wonderful view of Allendorf and the entire hiking route. The path, which leads in an arc around the Steinert, also runs partly through the goat enclosure.now you reach Allendorf and thus the starting and finishing point of the hike.here is an overview of the stations you hike to:1.
