Hikers' parking lot in the street "Zur Rohmke"
Hikers' parking lot in the street "Zur Rohmke"
Circular hiking trail in the Meinkenbracht district in the Old Testament. Meinkenbracht is also affectionately known as Sundern's sun terrace, as its exposed location on the high plateau promises long periods of sunshine.
This family-friendly hike starts at the hiking parking lot at the Vogelstange in the street "Zur Rohmke". Your hiking sign is the M1. Wenden towards the village and turn into the street "Zum Alten Brunnen" opposite the church. Follow this road past the cemetery and turn left after 500m. The route now climbs until you reach the edge of the forest. Keeping to the right, you walk around the Ramberg on a comfortable path, sometimes with great views. When the path leads back onto the country road, turn left into the village and from the church take the familiar path back to the starting point.
