Silberg, Kulturgut Schrabbenhof / Silberger Straße or Müsener Straße
Silberg
An enjoyable tour with lots of "input" from natural and cultural history. The easy circular tour leads past the Sellenbruch nature reserve and over a longer section through the Dollenbruch nature reserve. The babbling of the Dollenbruch stream and the Silberbach stream can be heard again and again!
Information on the nature reserves can be found here
In Silberg, the marked hiking trail = leads south along Müsener Straße to the so-called "Kölsche Heck": Listening history "Kölsche Heck" from Grenzgeschichten up close. At the signpost "Parkplatz Wigrow", the circular tour first follows the signpost K towards Vorspanneiche to the signpost "Schutzhütte Dollenbruch 1".Tip: Audio history Vorspanneiche and Dollenbruch At the signpost "Schutzhütte Dollenbruch 1", the tour follows the signpost Z north via the Dollenbruch hiking parking lot to just below Varste. From here (signpost: Auf der Trift), the trail heads south at an acute Winkeln via the hiking trail marked > back to the starting point in Silberg (1.2 km).
Most hiking trails run away from towns and settlements and every hiker has thought about what would happen if an emergency were to occur. How can I be found here? Where am I anyway? Can the emergency services reach me?
But in an emergency, things have to move quickly! That's why the hiking trail network in the Lennestadt & Kirchhundem region is equipped with so-called rescue signs throughout. The green and white stickers attached to the posts of the signposts have a number that you must give when making an emergency call. This means that the emergency services know exactly where you are and valuable time can be saved.
Ruhr-Sieg-Bahn to Lennestadt-Altenhundem station (hiking station);
Bus R 92 in the direction of Brachthausen; bus stop: Silberg-Müsener Straße.
