The parish council of the St. Agatha parish transforms this beautiful walk in Westenfeld into a themed path at Christmas or Easter. Many plaques with religious poems or sayings then adorn the path. After the holidays, it then becomes a trim trail.
Information
Directions
It is best to park in the hiking parking lot at the Schützenhalle. Turn left towards the church and shortly afterwards turn left into the street "Bainkhauser Weg". After approx. 100m, turn right into the street "In der Weist". From here, continue straight ahead along the tarred road. Many benches invite you to take a rest. At the end of the meadow valley, follow the path to the left and you will come to the Milmke farm. You are welcome to buy eggs, honey, plants or jam here. Continue straight ahead through the fields until you reach the "Bainkhauser Weg" road again, which you follow to the left down to the starting point of your walk.If you only want to follow the themed trail, the route is approx. 500m shorter. Park at the kindergarten and simply follow the signs.

1) From Dortmund / Münster via the A 44 Dortmund - Kassel to the Werl junction, then A 445 towards Arnsberg to the Hüsten / Sundern exit, via the B 229 Hachen, then towards Sundern. In Sundern, head towards Freienohl and Westenfeld 2
) From Kassel via the A 44 Kassel - Dortmund to the Werl junction, then continue as described under variant 1.
3) From Cologne via the A 4 Cologne - Olpe to the Olpe junction, take the A 45 Dortmund - Frankfurt in the direction of Dortmund to the Olpe exit, via Attendorn, Finnentrop, Rönkhausen to Sundern. Continue as
