Sauerland-Seelenorte
42 places, spread across the Sauerland-Wanderdorf villages, have been selected because they are particularly impressive and have a special meaning for the people in their surroundings. One of these places is located in Medebach-Titmaringhausen.
The Sauerland soul red Krutenberg is a border and a transition. Because mountains connect, at least those who live in the same valley.
The hike takes you a short distance to this very special view, where it is worth stopping to sit and let your gaze wander into the distance. So take a little time and let your thoughts flow.

Directions
From the hikers' parking lot in the middle of Titmaringhausen, we head uphill in a westerly direction, initially following the signs for the Medebacher Bergweg and the yellow Rothaarsteig feeder road.At Wameckersberg, the first beautiful view awaits the hiker. Further up, we leave the mountain trail and turn left, following the X25. After about 100 meters, we reach the seaside village of Krutenberg with its fantastic Wenden views.We leave the x25 and follow the path into the valley. Continue straight ahead along the barn until you reach the T3. We follow this further downhill to the east. After a small loop, we leave the T3 to the left onto "Am Breidelaub". After about 100 meters we meet the T3 again and follow the path to the left (north) back to the starting point.

Current information about our forests - The bark beetle and its consequences
The forest owners are endeavoring to take the necessary measures in the forests and to remove the damaged wood. However, due to the extent of the damage, this work cannot be completed in a short space of time. The clearing and reforestation of the damaged forest stands will therefore take a long time and sometimes lead to disruptions such as closures and detour in the forests. This must always be taken into account when visiting the forest.

Getting there
From Winterberg/ Olsberg drive towards Medebach- In Küstelberg turn left towards Deifeld/ Referinghausen.
In Referinghausen then turn left onto Titmaringhausen .
From Korbach / Willingen drive to Usseln - there turn to Medebach and in the next village Düdinghausen turn right to Referinghausen and finally to Titmaringhausen.
