Enjoy a beautiful winter hike in Medebach's highest village, Küstelberg, on cleared paths.
The tour starts at the hiking portal in the village center. The route first takes you along the Sauerland-Höhenflug towards Orkequelle, which you leave to the right. You hike downhill through beautiful Buchenwald forests with wintry views. Parallel to the Orke, the trail leads back to the village, where it then follows a loop around the village. If you like, you can warm up and fortify yourself in the café or restaurant in the village center or in the hikers' hut on the nearby Schlossberg,

- From the north: A7, A2, A33 to Wünnenberg-Haaren interchange, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, Niedersfeld, Grönebach and then to Küstelberg
- From the west: A44 Dortmund-Kassel, exit at the Werl junction, A445 Meschede to Bestwig, Olsberg, Niedersfeld, Grönebach and then to Küstelberg
- From the Rhineland: A4 Cologne-Olpe to the Olpe junction, take the A45 towards Dortmund to the Olpe exit, B55 towards Lennestadt, B236 Schmallenberg, Winterberg and then Küstelberg
- From the east: A44 Dortmund-Kassel to exit Wünnenberg-Haaren, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, Niedersfeld, Grönebach and then to Küstelberg
- From the south: A5 from Frankfurt to Gießen, A485/B3 exit Marburg, B252 Wetter, B236 Hallenberg-Winterberg and then to Küstelberg
