For example, you can enjoy the view from the 479-metre-high Wienhagen Tower, in the middle of the nature reserve of the same name, and let your gaze wander into the distance. The VolmeFreizeitPark, an interactive park and play area for the whole family, is located directly on the Volme. Or you can head to the soccer golf course, which is unique in the region and also offers exercise and fun for the whole family.
Those who prefer peace and quiet will find it on a walk around the idyllic Jubachtalsperre dam. Numerous marked hiking trails not only lead around this dam gem. Kierspe also has plenty to offer culture lovers. The former Bakelite industry has left its mark on Kierspe. Thousands of exhibits from the last century are on display in the unique Bakelitmuseum. From food processors to bicycle handles and from light switches to ashtrays, there are many interesting things to discover. The Schleiper Hammer mill is still in operation on certain days.
