The stone is about 1.15 x 1.40 m and rather flat with a height of 25 cm. On it there are circular, irregular depressions, whose shapes seem to confirm the legend. It is located on the so-called "Totenweg", a high road between Wormbach and Soest, between the villages of Ramscheid, Dormecke and Schöndelt.
