Round hiking tip around the Bigger Kopf: Hike, for example, on the A1 around the Bigger Kopf. The 5 km long and easy circular trail leads through forests that were severely damaged by the storm Kyrill and therefore offer some wonderful views into the Attendorn area. At the Guilberg, for example, you can see the nature reserve "Ahauser Klippen and Stausee" as well as Heggen. The reservoir with its shallow water zone is an important resting place for waterfowl and its rocky forest biotopes are also of outstanding importance. At the "Dünscheder Heiligenhäuschen" another wonderful view over the Repetal opens up. If the one and a half hour hike is too short for you, you can extend the loop to 10 km by hiking trail A5, which leads to Burg Schnellenberg.
Circular hiking tip around Heggen and the Ahauser Stausee: The 17 km long and beautiful circular hike around the village of Heggen and the Ahauser Stausee, runs for the most part on field and forest paths, short sections are asphalted. Round hiking tip through the lower Repetal: The panoramic and scenically beautiful round hike leads on 13.5 km partly on narrow paths through the lower Repetal, past the ruins of Peperburg and Niederhelden. You can find the exact route here.
