Good starting point for several (round) hikes, bike tours.....e.g. E1 (2.8 km) or on the Plackweg to the Lörmecketurm (about 10 km one way).
By the way, the Plackweg is asphalted on the first approx. 3.5 km with a few inclines, but still good for e.g. strollers, scooters, etc.
