West of the village Medelon is the hiking parking Orketal starting point into the region Sauerland hiking villages - Orketal P Medelon; located not far from the L 617 "Orkestraße".

You will find the hiking board of the nature park on the highway 617 in the direction of Hesborn on the hiking parking lot to the nature trail Orke.

Am Gewässerpfad Orke is located directly at the hiking board. The local circular hiking trails A7, A8, A9 and the German Unity Trail are also signposted hiking trails from the hiking parking lot. The Sauerland Höhenflug and Medebacher Berg trails, which have been designated as premium trails, lead along here.
