The Kaiser-Heinrich-Bad in Belecke is a mineral spring, which is openly accessible and invites you to drink. Today, the building houses a fitness center and a salt cave.
According to a legend, Emperor Heinrich, who gave the spa its name, bathed in the Belecke water with his wife, and felt relief and healing of their burdens in their own bodies. The old mineral spring, also called a healing spring, dried up in 1890. 44 years later, in 1934, the spring was rebuilt by Kaspar Bracht, a citizen of Belecke, and the unemployed members of the Kolping Society. They also additionally built the bathhouse, which was later extended once again. The old well next to it has a depth of about 5 meters. After the Second World War, the Kaiser-Heinrich-Bad was considered the only mineral spring in the Sauerland for a long time.
Since 2007, the "Center for Exercise and Health Promotion" has existed next to the spring with a salt grotto made of 20 tons of Himalayan salt, newly built in 2017. Surrounded by millions of years old salt and 8% brine fogging, a climate is created that is comparable to that at the sea. Relaxation and well-being are possible in a very short time.

Since January 2022, the salt cave may be used as an extraordinary wedding venue. In cooperation with the registry office of the city of Warstein, a wedding ceremony in the salt cave is possible. The salt cave offers an extraordinary ambience with a very special atmosphere.
