Sauerland Tourism Website Shines in New Design

It is the hub of tourist activity and, year in, year out, the most important digital point of contact for over a million day trippers and holidaymakers in search of inspiration and information - following a relaunch, the Sauerland Tourism website now shines in a new design.

"With the completely redesigned layout and structure, we want to do even more justice to our claim `Germany's inspiring outdoor region` and showcase the many possibilities for varied leisure activities in a target group-specific way," explains Nadja Reh from Sauerland Tourism, responsible for the relaunch. On the homepage, for example, a spectacular drone video of the vast Sauerland landscape amazes visitors. From here, thanks to a completely revised page structure, it is only a few clicks to the desired information. Whether hiking, mountain biking, day trip or time out - all the facets that the Sauerland has to offer can be found here in just a few seconds and, thanks to the large-format photo motifs geared to the target groups, make visitors want to plunge straight into the adventure.

"The Sauerland has such a large portfolio of offers as no other region in NRW and this is exactly what we want to highlight with the new design of our website," emphasizes Dr. Jürgen Fischbach, Managing Director at Sauerland Tourism. The animating texts also contribute to this. Because those are likewise individually cut to the respective target groups and come sometimes active and rousing, sometimes relaxed and calm along. "The page visitors should immediately feel picked up and get the authentic Sauerland feeling," adds Reh further.
