Rathauspark has been a popular venue for open-air events in recent years and still is, such as the Midsummer Open-Air until 2013 or today's Hardcore Help Summerfest and various other music events.

This is made possible by the music pavilion, which was built at the rear right-hand side of the park.

The park also offers paths for a walk in the countryside and a direct view of Halveran Town Hall.
