The parish church of St. Severinus in Calle was built between 1853 and 1858. There was already a church on the same site, but it had to be closed in 1823 due to dilapidation.
The parish of Calle comprised 15 villages at the time. This explains the unusual size of the church for such a small village. The high altar in the parish church dates from 1636 and has 5 panel paintings and 5 sculptures of saints.
On the altar of the rosary is a Romanesque Madonna dating from 1250. The altar cross dates from 1600 and the figures of saints on the pillars and the pulpit were created when the church was built.
