St. Severinus Church is also worth a visit.
Hiking trail C is also known as the chapel trail. It starts at the hiking board in the center of Calle and leads east past St. Severinus Church and the "Mische" wayside shrine. A little further on, turn right onto the country road and follow the path in an easterly direction until shortly after the Schlade Kapelle chapel. From there, turn right towards Mühlsborner Stein. After a short time, the path leads right again past the Langenberg wayside shrine and along the edge of the forest to Mühlsborn. Pass the Nepomuk Chapel through the village and continue in a north-westerly direction along the edge of the forest. Past the wayside shrine "HI. Josef" wayside shrine, the route continues around the Hardt. Then turn sharp right and pass the Kelbke chapel.Walk in a westerly direction and then turn north. The path continues along the edge of the villages of Calle and Vosswinkel until it reaches the center of the village of Wallen. There you will find the St. Vincent Chapel and refreshment stops. From the outskirts of Calle, you follow a Way of the Cross in a northerly direction and come across the nationally renowned pilgrimage chapel at Halloh ("Zur schmerzhaften Mutter"). Three crossroads meet here, follow the Way of the Cross in an easterly direction and after approx. 2 km you will reach the center of Calle again.
We recommend sturdy shoes, clothing suitable for the weather and sufficient food and drink.
The hiking map has a scale of 1:30,000 and is GPS-accurate. Regional hiking trails and local circular hiking trails are marked. The back of the map contains information on excursion destinations, places to stop for refreshments and leisure tips, as well as an overview of the circular hiking trails with lengths and tour tips for the individual places.
The map material is weatherproof, tearproof and wipeable. The individual hiking maps are available at the "Around the Hennesee" tourist information offices. They can also be ordered from bookshops throughout Germany.
